This instrumental moves gently between several scenes, the first deep in the heart of the mountains with an ancient flute melody, followed by a more domestic and homely string passage, gaining momentum as the workers return home. Then the music captures a sense of the loneliness of an individual, before moving off over the landscape to the grandeur of the mountains and plains of the Andes.
